Stacey Ramirez
Stacey Bostwick-Ramirez is currently a faculty member at Grinnell College and Des Moines Area Community College. She has presented clinics for the Percussive Arts Society and the Illinois Summer Youth Music Festival. Stacey maintains a private teaching studio at Rieman Music and her students have won first chair positions in their school band, have achieved perfect scores at solo and ensemble contest, performed solos accompanied by bands and orchestras, and performed in the All-State Music Festival. Stacey has performed throughout the Mid-west and New York City with the Kolot Ensemble, Des Moines Symphony, Milwaukee Choral Artists, Illinois Symphony, Music Under the Stars, Des Moines Playhouse, Mosaics Chamber Ensemble, Orchestra Iowa, and the Des Moines Choral Society. She has performed with Eduardo Villa, Simon Estes, Joshua Bell, Steve Lippia, Time for Three, Sarah Chang, Jubilant Sykes, Christopher Parkening, and Sir James Galway. Stacey holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Music degree from Drake University both in Percussion Performance. She is endorsed by Aquarian Drumheads.
