Each year the Grinnell Prize recipients come to campus for the Grinnell Prize Symposium. They receive their prizes, meet with students and the wider community, and offer presentations about their work.
Symposium events are free and open to the public.

Keynote Address by Sister Helen Prejean, “Dead Man Walking: The Journey Continues.” Presentation of the Grinnell Prize medals to Elizabeth Scharpf and Julian Ingabire Kayibanda (of SHE) and Emily Arnold-Fernandez (of Asylum Access). Reception and book signing immediately afterward at Macy House.
