Brian Cavanagh-Strong ’09: Currently pursuing a MFA at the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU.

Jacob Sagrans ’09: I am currently (May 2011) finishing up my second year of the musicology Ph.D. program at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. My scholarly interests center around early music, music in relation to gender and sexual identity, and Ralph Vaughan Williams. I am still active as a singer in Montreal in a small chamber choir called the Orpheus Singers. Feel free to email me or check out my website if you want to learn more about what I am up to.

Sarah Cowan ’08: Last year I got my Master's in Choral Conducting as well as my teaching licensure in music ed. I conduct a 32-voice community chorus, the Twin Cities Jewish Chorale. I am the choral music teacher at Laura Jeffrey Academy — an urban all-girls charter school for grades 5-8.

Molly Dahlberg ’07: I was a Music/French major from the class of 2007. Last spring I got my M.M. in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University. I am pursuing a career in performance, but I'm not good enough yet so I am continuing lessons with my teacher from LSU and singing at a church and tutoring athletes for money. I am available by email or phone (see above) to answer anyone's questions, particularly those of you who are interested in opera.

Daniel Furuta ’08: I am living in Minneapolis. I engineer recordings for punk bands, have a moderately successful black metal project, play free jazz and study Javanese gamelan. I'm living the dream.

Nathanial Gailey-Schiltz: Since the summer of 2009 I have lived in the DC metro area and worked for the Aspen institute, a nonprofit promoting discussion of leadership policies in a range of fields. I am currently the Office Services Coordinator here. I've been accepted to the University of Maryland's MA program in Ethnomusicology, which I will start this fall.

Allie Kieffer: I'm a Ph.D. candidate in music history at Yale, in the beginning stages of a dissertation on intersections between fin-de-siècle French piano music and cultural shifts in representation and aurality. (And I'm always happy to talk to any current students thinking about applying to musicology/music history grad programs!)

Liz Mallott ’06: Biology/Music major, class of '06. I'm currently a graduate student in Anthropology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Vince Mertes: I helped design some sound effects for Galactic Taz Ball, a game for the Nintendo DS. I wrote a concept album that synthesizes Greek mythology, American folklore, and science fiction, and I will soon start to do acoustic performances of it.

Graeme Miller '06: Now working on my masters of urban planning and policy with a concentration in urban transportation at the University of Illinois at Chicago also, i'm a policy research assistant for the Dept of Energy's mid-west clean energy application center. sometimes i play the cello

Ian Orr ’08: I'm in Omaha, Nebraska (of all places) doing actuarial-type work. I play auxiliary percussion in a community orchestra (Orchestra Omaha (p.s.: concert tomorrow! I plan to destroy a cheap tambourine during Capriccio Italian (really).)), and I've taught myself guitar since I moved here--it's the the instrument I've played the most here.
