Finding and sharing opportunities for students and alumni.
Stories and headlines concerning cancelled summer internships, rescinded job offers, and countless furloughs and layoffs have dominated the media. Despite the glum news, there are still employers hiring and — through the broader Grinnell network of alumni, families, and friends — our community has just the connections to help one another.
The COVID-19 pandemic may have shaken our communities and disrupted our lives, but the strength and commitment of our community remains strong. We can and will get through this together. #GrinnelliansStayConnected
Here's How You Can Help:
If you work for an organization that is hiring — for interns, for part-/full-time positions, or even contract roles — we invite you to share the opportunity with us by completing the Sharing Opportunities online form or contacting us directly to help post your position or answer additional questions. The Center for Careers, Life, and Service will disseminate these opportunities to our students, our recent graduates, and the broader alumni community.
- If the opportunity is geared more toward a current student or early career professional (bachelors and <5 years of experience), we will post the opportunity on our online recruiting and job posting system called Handshake.
- If the opportunity calls for more experience and/or an advanced degree, we will also post the opportunity on Grinnell Connect, the online site to network and connect with Grinnell alumni.
