Sharing Opportunities

Finding and sharing opportunities for students and alumni.

Happy Spring! As we look forward to warmer weather, we are also eager to continue identifying and promoting internship and full-time job opportunities for current students, recent alumni, and upcoming May 2021 graduates. Launched in May 2020, our “Sharing Opportunities” initiative has generated more than 250 jobs and internship leads. With the continued support from our network of alumni, families, and friends, we can continue this important work of helping Grinnellians realize their post-graduate ambitions.

While the COVID-19 pandemic may have shaken our communities and disrupted our lives for the last year, the strength and commitment of the Grinnell community remain strong and resilient. We have, and will continue, to get through any and all challenges together. #GrinnelliansStayConnected

Here's How You Can Help

If you work for an organization that is hiring — for interns, for full-time positions, or even contract roles — we invite you to share the opportunity with us by completing the Sharing Opportunities online form or contacting us directly to help post your position or answer additional questions. The CLS will disseminate these opportunities to our students, our recent graduates, and the broader alumni community.

  • If the opportunity is geared more toward a current student or early career professional (bachelors and <5 years of experience), we will post the opportunity on our online recruiting and job posting system called Handshake
  • If the opportunity calls for more experience and/or an advanced degree, we will also post the opportunity on Grinnell Connect, the online site to network and connect with Grinnell alumni.
