The first Prairie Artisan Series workshop of 2017-18 will be on learning how to process chickens from the live bird into ready-to-cook. Enrollment is limited to 12 participants. To reserve a space, contact Jan Graham at the Center for Prairie Studies (grahamj[at]Grinnell[dot]edu). Transportation will depart from the Joe Rosenfield '25 Center drop-off area at 12:30 and return at 3:30 p.m. If you want to purchase a chicken (approx. $16), please so indicate (limit of 1 chicken). Wear closed-toe footwear, waterproof, if possible.
