Locating Your COVID-19 Test Results

Instructions on how those being tested at Grinnell College can access results

Faculty, staff, and students will receive an email once lab results are posted to their Client/Student Portal. The email will come from Student Health and Wellness with the subject line: You have new lab results.

The body of the email will read: "You have new lab results. To access your results, browse to https://shacscom.grinnell.edu/ and log in with your Student Health Services university username and password."

  1. Click on the link within the email. This will prompt you to sign in using your single sign in credentials (email address then 20+ character password).
  2. Sign into DUO.
  3. Confirm your identify by entering your birth date (month/day/year).
  4. When at the home page, scroll down the menu on the left side then press the Medical Records link.
  5. On the right side of the page you see Medical Records Menu with 5 tabs. (Visits, Allergies/Meds, Radiology, Labs, Procedures).
  6. Press the Labs tab.

The information on this tab is as follows:

  • Coll. Date: Collection Date (This is the date that you were tested at the natatorium.)

  • Test Name: Name of the test that was performed
    Tests that are currently performed at the natatorium are COVID-19 (Saliva).

  • Result: Negative or Positive
    Individuals with positive test results will be notified via a phone call.
    The lab result email will be sent after you have been notified.

  • To view the report from the lab, press the View Report link.
