Organized Rhythm Blends Percussion, Organ

Organized Rhythm brings their unorthodox combination of percussion and organ to Grinnell in a concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Herrick Chapel.

Free tickets are required for this public event. They are available beginning noon Thursday, Feb. 13 from Grinnell’s box office and the Pioneer Bookshop in downtown Grinnell.

Organized Rhythm is an unusual partnership between Clive Driskill-Smith, the young English organist sensation, and American percussion virtuoso Joseph Gramley. Driskell-Smith is one of the leading organists of his generation, a young master of his art; and multi-percussionist Gramley’s performance is by equal turns athletic and brilliant.

This is another opportunity to hear Herrick Chapel’s historic Aeolian Skinner organ played by a master.
