The CDC has recently updated guidance to permit anyone 18 or older to get a booster and we strongly urge community members to receive a booster dose as soon as possible. Students who receive a booster can upload documentation to the health portal.

Student COVID-19 Booster Shot Clinic

SHAW is partnering with Hy-Vee to provide Pfizer booster shots to students. Students must be 18 years or older and be 6 months past their second dose. Students can receive a Pfizer booster even if they had a different series for their first vaccination.

When: Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, from 1-4 p.m.
Where: Harris Center

Registration Is Required

Registration opens the afternoon of Nov. 26 and closes Dec. 6. No walk-in appointments.

Booster Shots Available Outside of Clinic

  • Walk-ins and appointments are available through Walmart, Walgreens, and many health-providers.
  • Students can walk-in to Walmart (Pfizer and Moderna) or preschedule with Hy-Vee (Pfizer only) for their COVID-19 Booster.
  • Transportation is available for students through SHAW Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 641-269-3230 to schedule your appointment for transportation.
