The Pioneer Bookshop will serve hot chocolate and cookies for the holiday open house. The free public event is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, throughout downtown Grinnell.

You could win prizes throughout the night and kids can make a tree ornament to take home and create a wish list for Santa.
