November 2-10, Grinnell College will play host to internationally-renowned vocalist, Christine Duncan. During her time on campus, she will work with music department students to develop vocal and improvisational skills.

With her Mentored Advanced Project adviser, Professor of Russian Todd Armstrong, Nora Leahy is exploring how Grinnellians can use the Global Kitchen for coursework and other community-building activities, not only on campus, but also throughout the town of Grinnell.
Varela, a class of 2021 graduate from Las Vegas, Nevada, is a French major with education licensure. She has native proficiency in Spanish along with her academic study in both French and Spanish. She plans to study for a Master of Arts in bilingual-bicultural education.
