Leading Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Jason Chen ’07

Jason Chen ’07 will be a featured speaker via Skype in the Leading Innovation and Entrepreneurship speaker series on Friday, September 29. The event, which is free and open to the public, will start at 2:00 p.m. in Harris Cinema. The Donald and Winifred Wilson Center for Innovation and Leadership is sponsoring the speaker series and associated course.

Chen is the CEO & Founder of MSW Media in Shanghai, China. He started the internet media company in 2009, which has 2.3 million subscribers and has accumulated over 2 billion views for its video/audio content production as of May 2017. The company helps "knowledge holder" develop their knowledge in any topics into a systematic digital multi-media course that is marketable and attractive to its targeted audience. One of the marketing methods involves making and running popular entertainment shows such as video talk shows. Currently, the company is still in the early stages of development in regards to its strategic goal of building a platform of knowledge products and digital content, instead of actual goods.
