Grinnell College students may enroll in dental and vision insurance offered through Delta Dental of Iowa. With Delta’s nationwide network of providers, you may use your benefits while at school or at home.
There are two open enrollment periods, one in the fall and another in the spring. If you miss Open Enrollment, you may have a qualifying life event and be eligible for a special enrollment period. Plan Highlights
Delta Dental PPO Plus Plan
The PPO Plus plan gives you access to the largest network of dentists in the United States. You have the option to go to any dentist you want. The plan features benefits for services both in and out of network. Highlights of the PPO Plus Plan include:
- no waiting periods
- preventive and diagnostic services covered at 100%
- ability to select the dentist of your choice.
- annual maximum benefit of $1,000 per person.
DeltaVision Plan
The DeltaVision plan includes local, national, and online providers. The plan features benefits for services both in and out of network. Highlights of the plan include:
- no waiting periods.
- $10 copay for an annual eye exam
- $25 copay for prescription lenses
- $80 allowance for contact lenses
