What I love about my territory: Oregon is my home state! I love the fact that when I’m in Oregon recruiting students, I also get to spend time with my family.
What I love about Grinnell: The men’s basketball team — their run-and-gun style of play (known as “The System”) is really fun to watch!
Hobbies/activities: I enjoy running, board games, slow mornings with a good cup of coffee, and hiking in the Pacific Northwest. I have two delightful and entertaining littles at home. They keep me on my toes, so most of my non-work time is devoted to them.
Advice about searching for schools: When researching schools, connect with as many current students as you can in an effort to get an up-close-and-personal view of the student experience.
Advice about applying to schools: Connect with your admission counselor at some point during the application process. Reaching out to your counselor and showing your interest and excitement for the school helps them be your biggest supporters during the application process, especially at a small school like Grinnell, which takes a holistic approach to the application review.
