Lucile Beaujouan is from Brittany, France. She holds a « License de Langue, Littératures et Civilisations Étrangères – Anglais » and a Masters’ degree « Didactique des Langues – Numérique et Ingénierie pédagogique » from the University of Rennes II. Before coming to Grinnell, she taught French in Centre Franco-Omanais in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman; in CIREFE in Rennes, France; and at the University of Rhode Island, RI. She is convinced learning a language is not only about studying the grammar, but also integrating it in daily life through cooking, movies, music, literature, videos... She strives to create a fun environment in class and loves using games and entertaining activities.
