Mike has been working with technology in teaching and learning at Grinnell since 2004. For a number of years, Mike's professional focus was on pedagogical applications of technology, with primary expertise in programming for the Digital Liberal Arts, web development, and high quality media production, encoding, and delivery. He partnered with many faculty to apply these skills to create or enhance learning opportunities. Now, as Grinnell College's Linux Systems Administrator, his professional focus is on building and maintaining flexible and reliable computing environments for Computer Science and Math/Statistics teaching, learning and research, and on administering the College's High Performance Compute cluster.
