Sophie Neems

Sophie Neems graduated from Grinnell in 2016 with a double major in anthropology and Spanish. After graduation, she worked in agriculture policy and communications in Washington, D.C. and most recently completed a Fulbright research grant on climate change and agriculture in Cordoba, Spain. Sophie is excited to return to Grinnell as the assistant director of young alumni programming, a position the College created based on feedback from young alums who feel that the college could better meet their needs as members of the Grinnell community. Sophie looks forward to collaborating with her fellow young alums in this role.
