Nicholas Wagner
Dr. Wagner earned his PhD from the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Studies at the University of Minnesota in 2019. Beginning in the fall of 2019, he started teaching at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, where he taught Latin, and courses in translation on Greek and Roman history, Classical Mythology, and the Epic Tradition. He started teaching at Grinnell in the fall of 2022. His research interests include the intersection of Roman religion and Roman politics, particularly in Cicero's speeches. His revised dissertation is currently under review for publication.
In his spare time, Dr. Wagner is usually catching up on movies and TV shows.
