Kate Anderson '02

Kate Anderson '02 is an Assistant Professor of Economics and Entrepreneurship at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University. Her research looks at how social networks both shape and are shaped by human behavior. She is particularly interested in the role of social networks in innovation and collaborative problem solving, and how human capital shapes labor market outcomes. She is associated with the Donald H. Jones Center for Entrepreneurship, and teaches courses in entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as social, economic, and information networks.
