Yoo-Jung Chang, cello, is an active performer, teacher, and orchestra player. Chang featured as a soloist with the Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra as the second prize of the Gail Newby Concerto Competition. She has won several awards, including Nan-Pa Music Competition, Korean Brahms Association Competition, Seoul Baroque Chamber Orchestra Competition, Ewah Womans University Chamber Competition, and Pasadena Alumnae Chapter SAI Music Scholarship Competition. As an active orchestra player, she has performed with Quad City Symphony Orchestra (IA), Chicago Civic Orchestra (IL), Waterbury Symphony Orchestra (CT), International Chamber Soloists Ensemble (NY), Ohio Light Opera Orchestra (OH), YMF Debut Orchestra (CA), and AIMS Festival Orchestra (Graz, Austria). Chang received her Bachelor of Music degree from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. As a full scholarship recipient, she earned her Graduate Professional Diploma from the Hartt School and Master of Art Degree from University of Iowa. Currently, Chang is on faculty at Grinnell College and Des Moines Symphony Academy, and she is a member of Quad City Symphony Orchestra.
