In her role as Associate Director of Analytic Support Kaitlin is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of the research and analysis agenda in support of the mission and strategic planning efforts of the college. This includes development of analytic models, research design and implementation, and leading multiple areas of campus in creating a data-informed decision making culture. Prior to her time at Grinnell College, Kaitlin worked with the University of Iowa Department of Health Management and Policy and the Center for Health Policy and Research on studies of cleft lip and palate, genetic determinates of maternal risk behavior, pre-eclampsia, and electronic health record implementation in rural Iowa. She has published peer-reviewed articles in the Journal of Reproductive Immunology, the Journal of Human Capital, and the Journal of Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine.
Kaitlin earned her B.A. in Communication from The University of Arizona and completed post graduate research with the University of Iowa, Department of Health Management and Policy. She is currently completing a M.S. in Quantitative Methods at the University of Iowa.
