Where are you? Well, you are here. And that is precisely where you are supposed to be.
Some of your classmates might be decidedly focused on a particular pathway, while others may be equally uncertain as to what steps they should take to gain a sense of clarity and direction. What matters, however, is where you are. We are glad you’re here, and we are eager to work with you.
The Center for Careers, Life, and Service (CLS) is designed to support students as they explore their personal, professional, and civic aspirations. Whether you are working with your designated Exploratory Adviser, considering one of our Career Communities, investigating Service and Social Innovation programs, or applying for a Global Fellowship or Award, CLS advisers meet you, learn about your most pressing challenges, and support you every step of the way. Beyond advising, the CLS Employer Engagement team is regularly connecting and building relationships with employers and other recruiters who are seeking to hire Grinnell interns and graduates, or enroll them in their graduate or professional school programs.
Designing a life that matters to you is what matters to us. You began this process before Grinnell, and the CLS is here to help you make the most of your time at Grinnell so you are poised to live, learn, and work with meaning and purpose upon graduation.
