    Paul Cover ’21

    Paul is one of this year's peer ambassador interns for the CLS. He serves as the peer ambassador intern in order to promote the CLS’s advisers, programs, and resources, assist students in their use of Handshake, and support the social media coordinator with event promotion. He is a second-year from Columbia, Missouri. He intends to major in biology with a possible statistics concentration, and plans to go into medicine after Grinnell. When not in class, Paul spends most of his time either swimming as a member of the Grinnell Men's Swim and Dive Team, or tinkering with any technology he can get his hands on.  

  • Hallela Hinton-Williams

    Hallela Hinton-Williams ’21

    Hallela joined the Center for Career, Life, and Services in the fall of 2018. In her role, she serves as the peer ambassador intern in order to promote the CLS’s advisers, programs, and resources, assist students in their use of Handshake, and support the social media coordinator with event promotion. She wants to help make sure every student feels confident utilizing the resources the CLS offers.

    Hallela grew up in Milford, Pennsylvania until 2014 when she moved to St. Joseph, MN. In 2017, she enrolled in Grinnell College. On campus, Hallela also serves as the 2021 Class Ambassador, organizing resources and events to build class affinity. Recreationally, Hallela enjoys reading, writing, and learning how to knit.

  • Dechen Khangkyil

    Dechen Khangkyil ’21

    Dechen is a second-year intended political science major with a global development studies concentration. As a peer ambassador intern for the CLS, she is involved with outreach connecting students to various CLS resources. On campus, she is a member of the South Asian Student Organization and is involved in working with issues she is passionate about through student activism. Connecting with the CLS early has made a huge difference in her experience and believes it provides the necessary tools and resources in preparing her to be a strong applicant for any opportunity.

  • Allie Pearce

    Alicen Pearce ’20

    Allie is a third-year political science major with double concentrations in policy studies and American studies. She intends to enter the field of educational policy as an analyst and adviser for political officials. As a CLS intern, Allie assists with student outreach efforts and promotes new campus resources such as Handshake. On campus, she is involved with student government, co-chairs Campus Democrats, and serves as a student leader for the Government and Social Services Career Community. She loves to cook, read, and volunteer in her (limited) free time. As a native Iowan, she is happy to put her "Midwestern nice" to good use talking to her fellow students about Grinnell, corn, the CLS, and everything else under the sun!
