New Student Checklist

All required checklist items must be completed and submitted in order to register for classes.
Items that may require information from parents or guardians are marked with a +.
Optional items are indicated with an *.  

Important First Steps

• Access your Grinnell College network credentials and email account
• Confirm your attendance at New Student Orientation
• Upload a photo for your College ID (Pioneer OneCard)
• Submit standardized test scores *
• Submit Advanced Placement credits *
• Begin to compile health and immunization data +

Due June 15 (and all previous items)

• Complete and submit the Housing and Roommate Form
• Choose your First Year Tutorial Preferences
• Complete Student Profile and Banking information +
• Submit Disability Disclosure*
• Submit the Religious/Spiritual Affiliation Form*
• Submit Outside Scholarship Information Sheet *

Due July 15 (and all previous items)

• Submit the Advising Information Form
• Complete the Billing Agreement Form
• Pay your Fall Tuition Bill (per due date)
• Submit your Final High School Transcript
• Submit Health and Immunization data +  

In August (and all previous items)

• View your housing, roommate assignment and mailbox combination
• Enroll in or waive Student Health Insurance
• Gather documents and bring them to campus to complete Student Employment paperwork *  
• Complete language and/or math placement testing *
• Access pre-New Student Orientation content through Comevo
