The Grinnell College Museum of Art (GCMoA) is celebrating 25 years of bringing the joy and excitement of art to Grinnell College and the wider community. GCMoA — opened in 1999 under the name Faulconer Gallery — promotes the arts, features various major exhibitions of national and international arts and artists, and conducts outreach initiatives.
On Sept. 28, Grinnell College dedicated Renfrow Hall in honor of 1937 Grinnell graduate Edith Renfrow Smith, honoring her inspiring life of achievement, service, and generosity.
Popular with both student and downtown businesses, dining dollars will now be available as a payment method at Pagliai’s and El Cascabel, in addition to businesses previously established as a part of the program: Dari Barn, Jay’s Deli, McNally’s Foods, and Saint’s Rest.

The ceremony will celebrate not only the opening of this unique space but will also honor the remarkable legacy of Mrs. Edith Renfrow Smith.
