The End Is Near!

Happy finals, Grinnellians! The libraries are here to support you. Remind yourself of Burling and Kistle Science Library hours through the end of the semester.

Over the last week of classes and exam week, the Reference Officeacross from Burling Library Circulation, behind the tea cart—will have increased hours between 9am-5pm. Drop in anytime the lights are on to chat with a librarian with last minute research questions, help tracking down tricky resources, citation help, and more. Think of it as a lightning Library Lab.

On the afternoon of Reading Day Monday, December 12th from 1-5pm, get work done at the pop-up Productivity Café on 2nd floor Burling Library. Café rules: come and go as you like to work in a quiet communal space, enjoy hot drinks (coffee, hot coco, cider, and tea) and be productive. Inspired by manuscript cafés and coffee shop productivity, all will be encouraged to set a time and work goal and can opt into time or progress check-ins. Meet your goal to pick from a grab bag and enter a drawing of some great prizes.

Librarians will be available for citation and research questions on the fly. Open to students, faculty, and staff looking to focus and enjoy a hot beverage on Reading Day.
