Students to Present at 2016 Electronic Undergraduate Statistics Research

Two groups of Grinnell students will be giving plenary talks on their Undergraduate Statistics Project Competition (USPROC) award winning research at the 2016 Electronic Undergraduate Statistics Research Conference.

Ying Long ’17, Trang Nguyen ’17, and Inara Tareque ’16 will speak on “Logistic Regression and Classification Trees on Customer Churn in Telecommunication.”

Krit Petrachaianan ’17 and Hanh Pham ’17 will speak on “Validating Cattell's Sixteen Personality Factor Model with Exploratory Factor Analysis.”

Also congratulations to all the other Grinnell College students (under the mentorship of Prof. Kuiper) who won awards in various categories! A full list of winners can be found on the Undergraduate Statistics Project Competition website.
