Additional Office Hours During NSO

Many students will find a packet in their campus mailbox from the Office of Student Financial Aid that will contain items such as promissory notes or an authorization to release information. You may turn them in at the following times and locations: 

John Chrystal Center, 1st floor, normal office hours Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm 
John Chrystal Center, 1st floor, Sat, August 23, 8am-10am 
Joe Rosenfield Center, 2nd floor, Fri, August 22, 9am-5pm 
Joe Rosenfield Center, 2nd floor, Sat, August 23, 8am-10am 

Financial Aid staff will also be available to answer questions.

College Board's IDOC Service

Domestic Aid Applicants:  Income documentation, such as 2013 federal tax returns and W-2 forms, should be mailed to the College Board’s IDOC Service by April 15, 2014.  After you complete the CSS PROFILE, instructions will be provided both in an email and on the PROFILE Acknowledgement screen.  A link is provided to a required Cover Sheet.  This Cover Sheet must be included with the documents submitted to the College Board.  Please complete it carefully.  Wait until you have all required documents and submit them together in one pac

It’s time to begin the financial aid application process for the 2014-15 academic year.  The process to apply for financial aid has changed.  Click Apply for Aid for more detailed instructions.  To review required documents, including those you may have already submitted, click the “Required Documents” link on the “Services” tab of Pioneer Web.

International Students

Important Notice for International Students: If you received information from the College Board’s IDOC Service instructing you to submit wage or tax documents to them, please disregard that notice. Grinnell College does not require you to submit these items to IDOC.
