The Rosenfield Program brings students out of the classroom to delve into international affairs in Washington, D.C., as part of the College’s globally informed, inquiry-led curriculum.

David Shribman, former executive editor of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, will lead a workshop on Feb. 18 and 19 to examine matters regarding journalism ethics, exploring both abstract questions and applications on the ground.

Humanitarian aid typically enters the public consciousness at crises moments. These two speakers invite us to look beyond those snapshots in time and to entertain a few of the many complexities – the challenges – of aid.

The national holiday will be commemorated with a community reading of Martin Luther King Jr.’s well-known “Letter from Birmingham City Jail” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in Room 101 of the Joe Rosenfield ’25 Center.
