Collin Nolte

Collin's PhD studies included both mathematics and biostatistics, and his research interests involve developing more robust methods for modeling repeated measures and time-series data, particularly as it relates to eye-tracking. His PhD work included development of the `bdots` software, or the bootstrapped differences in time-series.

He is also involved in projects investigating early childhood development, particularly as it relates to language exposure. This includes ongoing work with the ABCD Study, the largest long-term study of brain development and child health in the United States.

Collin is also actively and enthusiastically involved in R programming, both in teaching and in package development. He is especially interested in cross-disciplinary research that allows him to help turn others' ideas into user-friendly applications.

In his mostly theoretical free time, he enjoys walking his greyhound and reading (sometimes at the same time).
