Samuel A. Rebelsky
Samuel A. Rebelsky is a Professor of Computer Science at Grinnell College. "SamR", as his students call him, has been at Grinnell since 1997. He therefore considers himself part of the Grinnell class of 2001; he was made an honorary member of that class at their reunion in 2011. He is also an honorary member of the Class of 2017. Rebelsky also maintains a 'blog, SamR's Assorted Musings and Rants, to which he posts daily, often about issues at Grinnell. In Fall 2018, Rebelsky served as a Digital Bridges Fellow at the Obermann Center for Advanced Studies at the University of Iowa. Among other things, he is currently vice-chair of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computers and Society and Information Director for the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education.
