Letter from President Kington assures all students, but particularly those who may be affected by the Trump executive order and other related policies, that we will do everything in our power to support them so that they can complete their degrees.
International Student Affairs (OISA)
International and global-nomad students compose a vibrant presence at Grinnell. These individuals accomplish their own educational and professional goals, and they also enrich our campus, our community, and our curriculum. The OISA supports their Grinnell journey regardless of faith tradition, nationality, or citizenship status. We work in close partnership with Intercultural Affairs, the CRSSJ, the Institute for Global Engagement, the International Student Association (ISO), and many other campus and community partners!
Ongoing cultural programming, immigration compliance and regulatory advising, and academic and social support or referrals, help international Grinnellians make the most of their educational experience. Through the International Pre-Orientation Program (IPOP), an active Friends of International Students (FIS) community host program, and continued relationship building, the OISA works to help students from abroad feel at home in Grinnell.
