ZAWA! Performs Rommereim’s ‘Snap!’ at National Flute Association Convention

The eminent flute duo ZAWA! will perform “Snap!,” by Blanche Johnson Professor of Music John Rommereim, at the National Flute Association (NFA) Convention in Phoenix on August 4, 2023.  

ZAWA! has been described as “electrifying” and “mesmerizing” in performances across the country. Musical soulmates Jill Felber and Grinnell faculty member Claudia Anderson merged artistic forces in 1997 and offer recently commissioned and traditional duo works performed with high-spirited energy and impact. 

For the NFA convention performance, ZAWA! will be accompanied by a nine-member flute ensemble comprising leading performers from across the country.
