Ty Strawser

Ty Strawser was born and raised in Grinnell Iowa. Ty graduated from Grinnell Newburg High School. He then attended ATP flight school in Nashville Tennessee. There he trained to become a commercial pilot and earned his Private Pilot knowledge Certificate.

As a Campus Safety Officer, Ty says his responsibility is to create positive relationships between students, faculty, and staff while maintaining the safety and security of the college property.

In Ty’s free time he enjoys to be outdoors either hunting, fishing, or skiing and tubing on the lake. Most importantly he likes to spend time with his family.
