Campus Visit Hiatus
Grinnell College recognizes the global implications of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, and we understand that it is a quickly evolving situation. Our highest priority is for the health and well-being of everyone affected by COVID-19.
We take seriously our mission to support, and contribute to, the common good. As such, Grinnell College has announced several precautionary measures to respond to COVID-19. These measures include the cancellation of sponsored on-campus visits for prospective students. Campus tours, information sessions, overnight stays, and class visits have been suspended for now and we are unable to accommodate walk-in visitors. The hiatus will be in effect starting immediately and will go through May 2020.
This is a very difficult decision, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. The Offices of Admission and Student Financial Services will be available via phone and email during business hours to answer any questions.
