What makes Grinnell’s music and arts scene unique? You!
Our campus activities reflect our students’ interests. As a student, you can book films and concerts, help select speakers and topics for symposia, and share your own creative talents. And no matter what your major, you can participate in student plays, join music ensembles, learn studio arts from ceramics to digital media, and explore the written word; 75 percent of students are actively engaged in one or more arts programs.
We also bring celebrated artists, writers, musicians, dancers, and theatrical groups from all over the world to campus. They perform, exhibit, lead workshops, and sometimes teach classes, providing an ongoing stimulus to the entire community.
