Christopher Ray Olsen
Chris taught statistics at Washington High School before moving into administrative work as an assessment specialist in the Cedar Rapids, IA, community schools. He comes to Grinnell after teaching at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon. With undergraduate majors in mathematics and philosophy, he is perfectly happy to solve problems or prove that they don’t exist. His daughter, Anna, holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Caltech and is something of an expert on earthquakes.
