Application for Current Students

COVID-19 update: While the Liberal Arts in Prison Program (LAPP) remains active, we are offering only remote education during the pandemic. Opportunities for student participants are temporarily limited. Student coordinators are helping curate educational content for our closed-circuit TV channel at Newton Correctional Facility, and a student is editing Concrete Perspectives, our annual literary anthology. We look forward to continuing our more robust in-person offerings as soon as conditions allow, which includes many more opportunities for student participants in the program.

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Liberal Arts in Prison Program. Students typically participate in the program by tutoring incarcerated students; editing a literary anthology; and organizing our faculty lecture series.
