Getting Assistance
Are you a recent alum or are you thinking about making a career change? Looking for resources? The Center for Careers, Life, and Service can work with you to determine next steps. Below are some of the services we offer alumni.

Career Advising: CLS Advisers can help you brainstorm options, explore transferable skills, plan networking strategies, connect with other alumni, and review professional materials.

Graduate and Professional School Advising: Applying for postgraduate education doesn’t have to be daunting. We can walk you through preparation, application processes, and selection.

Postgraduate Fellowships and Awards: Many awards, including Fulbright Grants and prestigious UK scholarships (Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Churchill), accept applications from recent graduates. As alumni, you may work with the CLS on your applications—even those requiring campus nomination or endorsement.

Grinnell Connect
As an alum, you have exclusive access to the Grinnell College alumni network through Grinnell Connect. This online platform houses over 3500 alumni who have indicated how they are “Willing to Help” current students and fellow alumni.
