Beginning in fall 2026, newly admitted students who meet the requirements will receive the Iowa Dean’s Scholarship, which provides a renewable $50,000 annual merit-based award for all admitted residents and high school graduates from Iowa who have attained a 4.0+ weighted GPA in core academic classes or have succeeded in the most demanding curriculum offered by their schools. 

Clark Lindgren, Patricia A. Johnson Professor of Neuroscience, has been awarded a $515,078 grant from the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Meet Ruth P. Feingold - she joined Grinnell College as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College on July 1, 2025. She took a few minutes of reflection to answer a few questions about her first impressions of Grinnell, her academic field, and her varied interests outside of work.

Grinnell College is piloting a new student success program called RSVP (Retention Student Success Validation and Progression). At the heart of RSVP is a team of “hosts” who are poised to connect with new students and help them feel comfortable getting involved in campus life.
