About the Workshop

Practice includes rolling, falling, being upside down, following a physical point of contact, supporting and giving weight to a partner. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance barefoot.
About the Performers
Hurley & Dancers is a professional modern dance company based in Des Moines, Iowa since 2001 that presents public performances, workshops, and arts–in–education residencies. The company encourages collaborations with choreographers, musicians, visual artists, and others for a vibrant cultural exchange. The group is managed by artistic director Kathleen Hurley, who is also a Grinnell College lecturer in the Department of Theatre and Dance.
