80th Anniversary of the Wizard of Oz

Eighty years ago, MGM released the musical comedy film The Wizard of Oz based on L. Frank Baum's novel

Come celebrate “all things” by viewing Burling Library’s wonderful display near the new faculty and staff publications on Burling Library, first floor.

In addition, Dee Michel, author of Friends of Dorothy: Why Gay Men Love the Wizard of Oz, will be guest speaker at a special screening of the Wizard of Oz on Sunday, November 10, 2019, from 4–10 p.m., in HSSC S3325.
