Exhibit Dedicated to Paul H. Appleby (1891-1963)

An exhibit on Grinnell alum Paul Appleby, class of 1913, is now on display in the Special Collections reading room. The display features a diverse range of materials that delve into Paul Appleby’s career path in the United States Department of Agriculture, academia, and international government consulting. Highlights of this exhibit include materials focused on Appleby’s integral work in New Deal policies after the Depression and issues of food distribution during WWII.
