SHAW and Human Resources will be providing free flu vaccinations on campus this fall for all enrolled students and all current employees.

Two different clinics will be offered this year. Please print, sign and bring the flu consent with you to the clinic. Hard copies will be available on site for those who will need to utilize this option. The VIS, Vaccine Information Sheet, will only be made available this year electronically.

For essential employees and all students living on and off campus who are enrolled in the COVID testing clinic:
You will be offered your flu vaccine at your regular testing time the week of Sept. 28. No additional appointment is necessary.

For non-essential employees:
SHAW will be hosting a drive-thru style vaccine clinic. Please reserve a time slot of when you will plan to attend the clinic so we can ensure a steady flow.

Drive-Thru Clinic for current employees not enrolled in the COVID testing clinic
Date: Friday, Oct. 9, 2020
Time: 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Location: Bear Parking Lot (on 10th Avenue across from the Bear Athletic Center)

Please do not attend the vaccine clinics if you are experiencing any of these symptoms:

  • fever
  • cough
  • sore throat
  • nasal congestion
  • headache
  • shortness of breath
  • body aches
  • nausea or vomiting
  • diarrhea
  • loss of taste or smell

We encourage you to reach out to your medical provider to be evaluated for COVID-19.

For employees who wish to be vaccinated elsewhere, flu shots are covered by the College health insurance plan regardless of where you are vaccinated. The CDC offers important information regarding why a flu vaccine is so important this year.
