Grinnell's Montgomery is MWC Track Performer of the Week

Grinnell College’s David Montgomery has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Track Performer of the Week. Montgomery, who is from Elmhurst, Ill. (York HS), had a stellar weekend at the Buena Vista Challenge in Storm Lake, Iowa, taking second in both the mile (4 minutes, 25 seconds) and 3000-meter run (8:49.23). Both are top times in the Midwest Conference this season. The Women’s Track Performer of the Week is Emily Schudrowitz of St. Norbert College, while the Field Performer is Krystal Sterling of Carroll University.
