The presentation, which is free and open to the public, will start at 4:30 p.m. in the Joe Rosenfield '25 Center, Room 101.

Cáel M. Keegan is Assistant Professor of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Liberal Studies at Grand Valley State University. He is the author of Lana and Lilly Wachowski: Sensing Transgender (University of Illinois Press, 2018) and Secretary of the Queer Caucus of the Society for Cinema and Media Studies. Keegan has been interviewed on LGBTQ art and cinema by National Public Radio, the Advocate, NBC, Vice, and Slashfilm. Keegan also appears in the Vice Guide to Film’s episode on “New Trans Cinema.”  His writing has also appeared in Genders, Queer Studies in Media and Popular Culture, Mediekultur, Spectator, and the Journal of Homosexuality.
