Artists@Grinnell – Rich Dana: Cheap Copies! Fanzines, Chapbooks and the Art of the Mimeograph

Wednesday, Nov. 3, 4 p.m.

Visiting artist Rich Dana will give a talk on the history and adaptation of the mimeograph machine, followed by a workshop. He will explore how artists and writers of the 1960s co-opted pre-digital office duplicators, and the international network of  pre-World War II mimeographed “fanzines.” Co-sponsored by Studio Art & Grinnell College Museum of Art.
