Praire Burn 2026

Summer brings a different rhythm to Grinnell. Research labs and field sites remain busy as students dive into Mentored Advanced Projects (MAPs), while the wider community gathers for weekly traditions and special events that celebrate the season. From a prescribed prairie burn that helps restore Iowa's native landscape to Thursday evenings at the Grinnell Farmers Market, Music in the Park concerts, and Fourth of July festivities at the Grinnell College Golf Course, these photographs capture the people, experiences, and moments that made summer 2026 memorable.
