The Pioneers swim & dive teams won their respective Midwest Conference (MWC) championship titles last weekend at Russell K. Osgood Pool. Both teams racked up over 1,000 points handedly beating out the second-place teams.

This was the 5th title in a row for the women’s team who have now won 25 out of the last 27 MWC crowns (34 total). Multiple swimmers scored times ranking high in Grinnell’s history including a school and meet record in the 100-yard backstroke prelims.

This marked the men’s 10th consecutive MWC title, now having won 22 out of the past 24 titles and 46 total. The men also swam right past previous times including setting new MWC, meet, school and pool records in both the 200-yard butterfly and 400 freestyle relay.
