View British Production of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" on Feb. 10
Time: 3 p.m.
Date: Sunday, Feb. 10
Place: Harris Center Cinema, 1114 10th Ave., Grinnell
Directed by Benedict Andrews, National Theatre’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof takes place on a steamy night in Mississippi as a wealthy Southern family gathers at their cotton plantation to celebrate Big Daddy’s birthday. The heat is almost as oppressive as the lies family members tell. Brick (Jack O’Connell) and Maggie (Sienna Miller) dance around the secrets and sexual tensions that threaten to destroy their marriage. With the future of the family at stake, which version of the truth is real – and which will win out?
This production contains nudity and mature content considered inappropriate for young audiences.
