Winter Weather Closure

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning which could impact travel. Please use caution if you plan on traveling today. Grinnell College will remain open until 3:00 pm today, classes will be in session, and business operations will continue.

If faculty or staff determine that their commute would be too hazardous, please do the following:

  • Faculty may contact their ASA to inform them that they will cancel class and ask for assistance in notifying their students.
  • Staff may contact their supervisor to inform them that travel is too hazardous and safe travel is not possible for them.

Please refer to the National Weather Service for additional weather and travel conditions.  If you require additional assistance, please contact the Department of Campus Safety at 641-269-4600 and a dispatcher will assist you as they are able.
